INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR: OS DESAFIOS DESSA PRÁTICA
O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar a produção científica sobre os desafios da inclusão do aluno com Transtorno Espectro Autista (TEA) nas Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES). O método de pesquisa eleito foi o da revisão integrativa da literatura. Utilizou-se a base de dados: Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), por meio dos descritores, ‘autismo no ensino superior; ‘TEA e ensino superior. As teses e dissertações avaliadas referem-se ao período dos últimos dez anos, disponíveis em português e quatro foram selecionadas de acordo com os critérios estabelecidos. Os dados revelam que muitas são as dificuldades e os desafios a serem enfrentados para que a inclusão dos alunos com TEA aconteça no Ensino Superior. É preciso formação de professores voltada a este público; reestruturação curricular; adaptação do espaço físico; introdução de tecnologias assistivas, entre outras ações, para que este alunado tenha suas especificidades atendidas e possibilidades de aquisição dos conhecimentos e formação profissional.

Abstract:
This study aimed to analyze the scientific production on the challenges of including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The chosen research method was the integrative literature review. The database used was the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), using the descriptors “autism in higher education” and “ASD and higher education.” The evaluated theses and dissertations, available in Portuguese, refer to the last ten years, and four of them were selected according to the established criteria. The data reveal that there are many difficulties and challenges to be solved to include students with ASD in Higher Education. There is a need for teacher training, curricular restructuring, the adaptation of the physical space, the introduction of assistive technologies, and other actions aimed at this audience to have their specificities met and possibilities for acquiring knowledge and professional training.
