INCIDÊNCIA E MORTALIDADE POR CÂNCER DO COLO DO ÚTERO EM MULHERES INDIGENAS NO BRASIL
O câncer o colo de útero é a segunda causa de mortes entre mulheres, sendo o Papilpma Vírus Humano (HPV) o principal responsável pela infecção. Poucos trabalhos trazem dados sobre esta neoplasia em mulheres indígenas. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar a incidência e mortalidade por câncer de colo de útero em mulheres indígenas no Brasil.

Abstract:
Cancer of the cervix is the second leading cause of death among women, with the Human Papillary Virus (HPV) being the main responsible for the infection. Few studies provide data on this neoplasm in indigenous women. Thus, the objective of this study was to determine the incidence and mortality from cervical cancer in indigenous women in Brazil.
