IMUNOTERAPIA: NO TRATAMENTO DO CÂNCER
Introdução: Com os avanços científicos, cientistas criaram a imunoterapia oferecendo um tratamento mais eficiente e promissor ao paciente oncológico, ativando o sistema imunológico do indivíduo, estimulando destruição de células tumorais com o menor dano possível às células normais. Objetivo: Analisar os avanços que o surgimento da imunoterapia possibilitou na disponibilidade de terapias mais eficientes no tratamento do câncer. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizando-se busca por artigos nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS e PUBMED, entre junho e julho de 2019, utilizando os descritores: “Imunoterapia”, “Neoplasias” e “Oncologia”, devidamente cadastrados no DeCS, empregando o operador booleano AND. Foram utilizados artigos publicados entre 2016 e 2019, em português e inglês, disponibilizados na integra, e que alcançaram o objetivo proposto após leitura completa. Sendo excluídos artigos que tratavam do uso exclusivo da quimioterapia no tratamento, bem como os que traziam a imunoterapia combinada a outros tratamentos. Sendo selecionados 5 artigos para o estudo. Resultado e discussão: Pôde-se observar que os pacientes submetidos ao tratamento imunoterapico apresentam significativa diminuição nos níveis de células tumorais, proporcionando menores danos aos tecidos. No seu desenvolvimento são utilizados biomarcadores informando os riscos de recidiva, identificando o melhor tratamento para o tumor. Porém, este tratamento é limitado no Brasil devido aos custos e atrasos na legislação. Conclusão: O surgimento da imunoterapia provocou grandes avanços na medicina oncológica, se mostrando precisa e eficaz no progresso de tratamentos de diversas doenças tumorais, embora, nenhum dos tratamentos com imunoterapia estejam disponíveis no SUS, mostrando grandes limitações no tratamento.

Abstract:
Introduction: With scientific advances, scientists have created immunotherapy offering the cancer patient more efficient and promising treatment, activating the individual's immune system, stimulating the destruction of tumor cells with smaller possible damage to normal cells. Objective: To analyze the advances that the emergence of immunotherapy turn possible the availability more efficient therapies in cancer treatment. Method: This is an integrative literature review, searching articles in the SCIELO, LILACS and PUBMED databases, between June and July 2019, using the keywords: "Immunotherapy", "Neoplasms" and "Oncology" , registered in DeCS, using the boolean operator AND. Was used articles published between 2016 and 2019, in Portuguese and English, available in full, and achieved the proposed goal after full reading. Articles that dealt with the exclusive use of chemotherapy in the treatment, as well as those that combined immunotherapy with other treatments were excluded. Was selected 5 articles to compose the study to beagin. Results and discussion: It was observed that patients undergoing immunotherapy treatment present significant decrease in tumor cell levels, resulting in less tissue damage. In its development biomarkers are used to inform the risks of recurrence, identifying the best treatment for the tumor. However, this treatment is limited in Brazil due to costs and delays in legislation. Conclusion: The emergence of immunotherapy has led to great advances in cancer medicine, proving to be accurate and effective in the progress of treatments for various tumor diseases, although none of the immunotherapy treatments are available in SUS, showing bigger limitations in treatment.
