IMPORTÂNCIA DO ENFERMEIRO NA ASSISTÊNCIA HUMANIZADA NA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA
A humanização em UTI onde se
presta cuidados a pacientes críticos é uma
tarefa complexa que exige muito empenho por
parte da equipe de saúde, especialmente os
enfermeiros, porque estes necessitam utilizar a
tecnologia aliada a empatia. Nesta perspectiva,
objetiva-se com esta pesquisa: Analisar a
importância da humanização na assistência de
enfermagem em UTI e identificar a importância
da assistência humanizada prestada pelo
enfermeiro em UTI para o paciente e seus
familiares. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva
com abordagem qualitativa, realizada com 6
enfermeiras que trabalham em uma UTI de um
hospital privado de Teresina. A coleta de dados
foi realizada através de um roteiro de entrevista
semi-estruturado, com autorização prévia das
participantes, sedo que suas respostas foram
analisadas e interpretadas através da analise
de conteúdo. Os resultados apontaram que
3(50%) entrevistadas estavam com idades
entre 32 a 39 anos e 3(50%) entre 25 a 27 anos,
todas mulheres, sendo 3(50%) casadas e 3(50%) solteiras. Quanto a religião 4(66,6%)
eram católicas e 2(33,3%) eram evangélica, sendo que suas respostam geraram 4
categorias: Importância da humanização; métodos para a execução da humanização;
benefícios da humanização para o paciente e dificuldades para aplicar a humanização.
Foi possível concluir com esta pesquisa que o profissional enfermeiro é indispensável
para a uma assistênciahumanizada em UTI e que este executa as suas atividades de
forma holística, buscando sempre o reestabelecimento da saúde do paciente através
da qualidade e da satisfação da assistência tanto do paciente como também dos seus
familiares.

Abstract:
Humanization in ICUs where care is provided to critical patients is a
complex task that requires a lot of commitment on the part of the health team, especially
nurses, because they need to use technology allied to empathy. In this perspective, the
objective of this research is: To analyze the importance of humanization in ICU nursing
care and to identify the importance of the humanized care provided by the nurse in the
ICU for the patient and his / her family. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative
approach, carried out with 6 nurses working in an ICU of a private hospital in Teresina.
Data collection was performed through a semi-structured interview script, with the prior
authorization of the participants, and their responses were analyzed and interpreted
through content analysis. The results indicated that 3 (50%) interviewed were between
32 and 39 years old and 3 (50%) between 25 and 27 years old, all women, 3 (50%) married
and 3 (50%) unmarried. As for religion 4 (66.6%) were Catholic and 2 (33.3%) were
evangelical, and their response generated four categories: Importance of humanization;
methods for the implementation of humanization; benefits of humanization for the patient
and difficulties in applying humanization. It was possible to conclude with this research
that the professional nurse is indispensable for a humanized care in the ICU and that
the ICU performs its activities in a holistic way, always seeking the reestablishment of
the patient’s health through the quality and satisfaction of the patient’s care as well as
of their families.
