Abstract: Anatomy is essential for medicine, allowing us to understand systems and organs, which are fundamental for surgery and drug development. The conservation of anatomical specimens maintains their characteristics, such as color and flexibility, through preservation techniques. The practical study of anatomy provides a more detailed understanding of biological and evolutionary structures, using parts preserved in laboratories for teaching and research. This work is a research project that reports on the dissection and preservation of anatomical specimens from different animals for study by veterinary medicine and agronomy students at the State University of Northern Paraná - UENP/CLM.
