IMPORTÂNCIA DA GESTÃO FINANCEIRA PARA OS TRANSPORTADORES DE PEQUENA ESCALA: ESTUDO DE CASO MOTOCICLISTAS DO 9º BAIRRO MUNHAVA CENTRAL-BEIRA-MOÇAMBIQUE (2018-2019)
A educação financeira é um processo que consiste na partilha de informação financeira entre indivíduos ou cidadãos, de forma a melhorar a sua compreensão de conceitos financeiros, produtos e serviços, contribuindo, para melhorar o bem-estar financeiro e social no presente e no futuro. O principal objectivo do estudo foi analisar até que ponto a importância da gestão financeira ajuda ao desenvolvimento socioeconómico, especialmente para os transportadores de pequena escala – motociclistas – do 9º Bairro da Munhava Central. O estudo teve a seguinte questão central: como é que a gestão financeira é feita por transportadores de pequena escala – motociclistas – do 9º Bairro da Munhava Central? A pesquisa foi realizada através da abordagem qualitativa, paradigma interpretativo e desenho de estudo de caso. Os dados foram obtidos através de perguntas abertas, utilizando entrevistas, observações dos participantes e análise de documentos. O estudo foi realizado para ajudar os transportadores a gerir as suas finanças de forma eficiente. Os resultados do estudo revelaram que as técnicas de gestão financeira utilizadas pelos transportadores são ineficientes e se colocar as novas técnicas apresentadas em prática podem ajudar a trazer excelentes resultados e a proporcionarem-lhes liberdade.

Abstract:
Financial education is a process that consists of the sharing of financial information between individuals or citizens, in order to improve their understanding of financial concepts, products and services, greatly contributing that minimize risks in the choices to improve financial and social well-being in the present and in the future. The main objective of the study was to analyze the extent to which the importance of financial management helps socio-economic development, especially for small-scale transporters – motorcyclists – from the 9th District of Munhava Central. The study had the following central question: how is financial management done by small-scale transporters – motorcyclists – from the 9th District of Munhava Central? The research was conducted through the qualitative approach, interpretative paradigm, and case study design. Data were obtained through open questions, using interviews, observations of participants and document analysis. The study was conducted to help carriers manage their finances efficiently. The results of the study revealed that the financial management techniques used by carriers are inefficient and if putting the new techniques presented into practice can help bring excellent results and provide them with freedom.
