IMPORTÂNCIA DA EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE NA FASE DA ADOLESCÊNCIA: ÊNFASE NA PREVENÇÃO DAS INFECÇÕES SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEIS
O termo Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis (IST) passou a substituir a expressão Doenças Sexualmente Transmissíveis (DST). A fase da adolescência (10 a 19 anos) é caracterizada como período de intenso desenvolvimento biopsicossocial e descobertas sobre a sexualidade, portanto, considera-se que nesse período a transmissão das IST pode ser maior. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar experiências vivenciadas por integrantes de um Programa Institucional de Bolsa para Extensão Universitária (PIBEX) no desenvolvimento de ações educativas com adolescentes sobre sexualidade com foco nas IST. As atividades foram realizadas em uma Escola Pública Estadual do Noroeste do Paraná com adolescentes, em média 80 alunos no período de fevereiro a junho de 2018 por meio de encontros semanais. Foram abordados os seguintes temas: direitos sexuais e reprodutivos, fisiologia e anatomia sexual, saúde sexual e reprodutiva, métodos contraceptivos e IST: formas de transmissão, sintomas e modos de prevenção. A média de idade dos alunos foi de treze anos, identificou-se que quase a metade deles já iniciou a atividade sexual, sendo a maioria do sexo masculino. Destes, mais da metade tiveram relação sexual desprotegida e poucos conheciam as formas de contaminação das IST. As estratégias utilizadas foram: rodas de conversa e dinâmicas sobre os temas e rodas de música para promover a aproximação dos estudantes com os acadêmicos. Ao longo das atividades, por meio de gincanas relacionadas aos temas trabalhados, foram obtidos muitos resultados positivos, pois os adolescentes demonstraram a construção de consciência sobre os temas, contrastando com o início do projeto. Dessa forma, pode-se concluir que a prática da atividade sexual por adolescentes é uma realidade, mas a maioria não possui informações e orientações efetivas sobre as IST. Dessa forma, destaca-se a importância de implantação de um processo de educação sexual permanente para esta faixa etária por meio de parcerias permanentes entre instituições de saúde e de educação.

Abstract:
The term Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) started is utilized to substitute the expression Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD), considering the possibility of the individuals to possess and to transmit the infection, yet if without presenting signals and symptoms. The phase of the adolescence (10-19 years) is characterized as period of intense biopsicossocial development and discoveries of sexuality; therefore, it’s considered that in this age group the transmission of STI can be bigger. The objective this work was to report the lived experience by members of a Scholarship Institutional Program for University Extension (PIBEX) in the development of educative actions with adolescents about sexuality with focus in the STI. The activities were held at a State Public School of Northwestern Paraná with teenagers, on average 80 students in the period of February to June of 2018. The following matters were boarded: sexual and reproductive rights, sexual physiology and anatomy, sexual and reproductive health, contraceptive methods, and STI. The average of age of students was of thirteen years, was identified that more of the half of them already initiated sexual activity, being the majority of the masculine sex. Of these, the half realized unprotected sexual relation and few knew about STI contamination ways. It was used follow strategies: rounds of conversation and dynamics in group about topics and music rounds to promote the approach of the students with the undergraduates. Throughout the activities, by means of scavenger hunt related with worked topics, got many positive results as the adolescents demonstrating the construction of conscience about themes, contrasting with the beginning of project. The sexual activity practice for adolescents is a reality, but the majority doesn’t have information and orientations effective about STIs. Thus, highlighting the importance of implementation of a permanent sex education process to this age group by means of permanent partnerships between health and education institutions.
