IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DAS POLÍTICAS DE PERMANÊNCIA ESTUDANTIL NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA NO IFPA
O texto apresenta a análise realizada na pesquisa de mestrado referente a implementação das políticas de permanência estudantil na educação básica no Instituto Federal do Pará – IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, no período 2012-2017, políticas essas ligadas ao Programa Nacional de Assistência Estudantil – PNAES. Revelam-se na pesquisa documental as ações desenvolvidas no PNAES no campus ao longo dos cinco anos de implementação, e nas falas da gestão e alunos, as limitações dessa: no processo seletivo, nos recursos para a política. Suscita a reflexão de que as ações da política não atendem em plenitude as proposições legais e institucionais, apesar de relacionarem na permanência dos alunos nos cursos de educação profissional de nível médio.

Abstract:
The paper presents the analysis made in the Master's research related to the implementation of policies of student permanence in basic education in the Federal Institute of Pará - IFPA, Abaetetuba Campus, in the period 2012-2017, policies related to the National Program of Student Assistance - PNAES. The documentary research reveals the actions developed in the PNAES on campus over the five years of implementation, and also students, the limitations of this policy: in the selection process, in monitoring, by the reduced team, and in the resources for the policy. The discussions proposed in this study stimulate the reflection that the actions of the cited policy do not fully attend the legal and institutional propositions despite being related to the permanence of students in high school professional education courses.
