IMPLANTE COCLEAR: CONCEITOS E PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS
Verifica-se a falta de pesquisas sobre as práticas pedagógicas compatíveis com o público usuário de implante coclear, por isso propomos essa pesquisa com o objetivo de adequar práticas pedagógicas acordantes com a referida população, a fim de contribuir com os atendimentos realizados por outras instituições. A pesquisa é de caráter qualitativo, pois foi observado o desenvolvimento da fala e habilidades auditivas de crianças com implante coclear, na faixa etária de 1 a 7 anos no decorrer do 1º semestre de 2014. O estudo é etnográfico, visto que, fizeram-se observações do cotidiano dos indivíduos e durante as ocorrências das atividades. Foram aplicados questionários com os pais e os professores para investigar as principais dificuldades apresentadas pelas crianças e outros aspectos de relevância à pesquisa. Para isso utilizaram-se como instrumentos: questionários, fotos e anotações. Ao coletar os dados, identificou-se oito categorias de atividades diferentes presentes no planejamento docente. Além da descrição destas, fez-se um relato individual dos alunos correspondente ao desempenho semestral. Buscou-se também, posicionar-se de maneira crítica sobre os dados coletados, pontuando possíveis contribuições para seu aperfeiçoamento, de modo a somar com o esse trabalho novo e desafiador.

Abstract:
There is a lack of research on pedagogical practices compatible with the public using cochlear implants, so we propose this research with the objective of adapting pedagogical practices in line with that population, in order to contribute to the pedagogical care provided by other institutions. This is a qualitative research, as the development of speech and hearing skills of children with cochlear implant was observed, in the age group from 1 to 7 years old during the 1st semester of 2014. The study is ethnographic, since records were made of the daily lives of individuals and during the occurrences of activities. Questionnaires were applied with parents and teachers to investigate the main difficulties presented by the children and other relevant aspects to the research. For this, the following tools were used: questionnaires, photos and notes. When collecting the data, eight different categories of activities present in the teaching planning were identified. In addition to their description, an individual student report was made corresponding to the semester performance. We also sought to position ourselves critically on the data collected, highlighting possible contributions to its improvement, in order to add value to this new and challenging work.
