IMPLANTAÇÃO DO KANBAN COMO INDUTOR DA MELHORA DO FLUXO DOS PACIENTES NA EMERGÊNCIA DE HOSPITAL GERAL
O problema da superlotação dos hospitais de emergência, no Brasil e no mundo, vem desafiando gestores e usuários do sistema de saúde. A despeito do fenômeno, ainda existem poucos indicadores em uso para o setor de emergência. O presente estudo descreve a estratégia utilizada na implantação de uma nova ferramenta, chamada Kanban, em um hospital. Concluímos que esta ferramenta auxilia na mudança comportamental da equipe, estimulando os funcionários ao trabalho multidisciplinar buscando resposta e soluções para as causas que contribuem para a superlotação do setor de emergência.

Abstract:
The problem of overcrowding in Brazilian emergency hospitals and all over the world is challenging health system managers and users. Despite the phenomenon, there are still few indicators being used in the emergency sector. The present study describes the strategy used in the implementation of a new tool, called Kanban, in the hospital. We concluded that this tool assists the teams behavioral change, stimulating workers to multidisciplinary work seeking response and solutions to the causes that contribute to the overcrowding of the emergency sector.
