IMPACTOS DA QUALIDADE DO AR INTERIOR
Os crescentes questionamentos sobre a qualidade do ar em ambientes fechados no Brasil e a necessidade do entendimento dos fatores que contribuem para sua complexidade e suas relações com a saúde humana tornaram-se temas de estudos relevantes para a saúde pública em nosso país. Este artigo tem por objetivo contextualizar as condições do ar de interiores como um fator de risco à saúde humana, apresentando os principais fatores que contribuem para a qualidade do ar interno e os possíveis agentes causadores de agravos à saúde, enfatizando a necessidade de se estabelecer indicadores que possam ser utilizados na prevenção, controle e promoção da saúde humana reduzindo assim a síndrome dos edifícios doentes.

Abstract:
The growing questions about air quality indoors in Brazil and the need to understand the factors that contribute to its complexity and its relations with human health have become topics of study relevant to public health in our country. This article aims to contextualize indoor air conditions as a risk factor for human health, presenting the main factors that contribute to the internal air quality and the possible agents that cause health problems, emphasizing the need to establish Indicators that can be used in the prevention, control and promotion of human health reducing the effect of the syndrome of sick building.
