IMPACTO SOCIAL DIRETAMENTE RELACIONADO ÀS MÍDIAS NO INCENTIVO AO USO DO TABACO
Esse trabalho aborda o tema das consequências do tabagismo durante a gestação com o objetivo integrar as disciplinas dos cursos de Biomedicina e Farmácia, além de expor os efeitos do tabagismo e o acompanhamento na gestante e no feto e apresentar políticas, propagandas e valores sociais relacionadas com o assunto. O método utilizado é a revisão bibliográfica, por meio de artigos, livros e sites científicos que contêm informações relevantes para a temática. Foi concluído que o tema é muito pertinente para a sociedade contemporânea, pois apesar de ser nocivo para a saúde, o consumo do tabaco ainda é recorrente e preocupante para a saúde pública. Portanto, profissionais da saúde devem estar atentos e prezando pela saúde do paciente e da população.

Abstract:
This article discusses the consequences of smoking cigarettes during the gestation period, with the objective of integrating the subjects in the areas of Biomedicine and Pharmacy. In addition, it will show the effects of smoking in the fetus and on the pregnant woman , the political aspects, propaganda and social values related to the subject matter. The method utilized is Literature Review, through the use of articles, books and scientific websites that are relevant to the topic discussed. It was concluded that the theme is pertinent to contemporary society, because although the harmful effects of smoking tobacco are well known, its use is still frequent and worrisome for public health. Therefore, the health professionals must be aware and regard the health of patients and the population involved in this context.
