IMPACTO DO SERVIÇO DE VERIFICAÇÃO DE ÓBITO NA DESCRIÇÃO EPIDEMIOLÓGICA DE ALAGOAS NO ANO DE 2018
A Rede Nacional de Verificação de Óbito e Esclarecimento da Causa Mortis foi idealizada para evidenciar dados e investigação epidemiológica, com finalidade de implementar medidas de vigilância e controle de doenças. Para isso, foi articulado o Serviço de Verificação de Óbito (SVO) que dispõe dentre diversas funções, a realização de necropsias de pessoas falecidas de morte natural, garantindo a emissão de declarações de óbito dos cadáveres examinados e, encaminhando, mensalmente, as informações à Secretaria Estadual de Saúde. A partir disso, é possível traçar um perfil da população de determinado estado, como a de Alagoas, elucidando as principais causas de óbito, a fim de implementar políticas públicas eficazes para a comunidade.

Abstract:
The National Network for the Verification of Death and Clarification of the Cause of Death was designed to highlight data and epidemiological investigation, with the importance of implementing surveillance and control measures. For this, the Death Verification Service was articulated, which has, among several functions, the carrying out of autopsies of deceased persons of natural death, ensuring the issuance of death certificates of the examined bodies and, forwarding, monthly, the information to the State Health Secretariat. From this, it is possible to draw a profile of the population of a certain state, such as that of Alagoas, to clarify the main causes of natural death, in order to implement effective public policies for the community.
