IMPACTO AMBIENTAL X AÇÃO ANTRÓPICA: UM ESTUDO DE CASO NO IGARAPÉ GRANDE – BARREIRINHA EM BOA VISTA/RR.
Devido ao crescimento desordenado, o meio ambiente está cada vez mais
sendo transformado pelas ações antrópicas, onde temos como consequência os
problemas ambientais produzidos principalmente nas áreas de preservação
permanente. Na capital de Boa Vista – RR, essa situação referente ao processo de
urbanização não é diferente, ele tem ocorrido de forma desordenada, sem
planejamento e sem respeito à legislação ambiental vigente, o que
consequentemente tem gerado grandes impactos ambientais. Neste sentido, o
objetivo principal desta pesquisa é identificar e descrever as agressões promovidas
pela ação humana junto ao Igarapé Grande, em um trecho do igarapé conhecido
como “Barreirinha”, propondo ações de sensibilização a favor da conservação deste
importante recurso hídrico, para isso, é necessário desenvolver um trabalho contínuo
de educação ambiental junto aos moradores, pois a EA tem um importante papel de
contribuir para a formação de novos valores, novas posturas e consequentemente
novas atitudes.

Abstract:
Due to the disorderly growth, the environment is increasingly being
transformed by the anthropic actions, where we have as consequence the
environmental problems produced mainly in the areas of permanent preservation. In
the capital of Boa Vista - RR, this situation regarding the urbanization process is not
different, it has occurred in a disorderly way, without planning and without respect to
the current environmental legislation, which has consequently generated large
environmental impacts. In this sense, the main objective of this research is to identify
and describe the aggressions promoted by the human action at Igarapé Grande, in a
section of the igarapé known as "Barreirinha", proposing awareness actions in favorof the conservation of this important water resource, it is necessary to develop a
continuous work of environmental education among the residents, since EA has an
important role to contribute to the formation of new values, new postures and
consequently new attitudes.
