IMIGRAÇÃO HAITIANA E SENEGALESA: Um estudo da diversidade cultural e a influência organizacional na agroindústria da cidade de Xaxim no Oeste de Santa Catarina
O presente artigo apresenta os resultados da pesquisa de campo, realizada em 2017, tendo como objetivo retratar a inserção de imigrantes haitianos e senegaleses na agroindústria do município de Xaxim em Santa Catarina. Metodologicamente a pesquisa se caracterizou como qualitativa e quantitativa. Utilizando o método indutivo e fenomenológico, com nível de pesquisa exploratório e tendo um delineamento bibliográfico e documental, o que possibilitou criar um panorama amplo na sondagem da real situação das diásporas no ambiente de trabalho. A amostra populacional abrange os colaboradores e líderes nativos e colaboradores imigrantes, sendo o público imigrante constituído por haitianos e senegaleses. A pesquisa aponta resultados referentes às principais dificuldades dos imigrantes no ambiente de trabalho, sendo constatadas a dificuldade de comunicação, descriminação e racismo como principal barreiras à inserção dos imigrantes no ambiente de trabalho. O destaque desta pesquisa está na análise da inserção dos imigrantes no contexto da agroindústria, sendo um tema com pouco material publicado e poucas pesquisas que expõem o contexto da agroindústria e as relações com a diáspora. Apresentando em sua conclusão as principais dificuldades da inserção do imigrante no ambiente de trabalho da agroindústria, destacando o preconceito e as diferenças culturais como pontos críticos destas interações.

Abstract:
This article presents the results of the field research carried out in 2017, with the objective of researching the insertion of Haitian and Senegalese immigrants in the agroindustry of the municipality of Xaxim in Santa Catarina. Methodologically, the research was characterized as qualitative and quantitative. Using the inductive and phenomenological method, with an exploratory research level and having a bibliographic and documentary design, which made it possible to create a broad panorama in the survey of the real situation of the diasporas in the work environment. The population sample includes collaborators and native leaders and immigrant collaborators, with the immigrant public consisting of Haitians and Senegalese. The research points out results referring to the main difficulties of immigrants in the work environment, being verified the difficulty of communication, discrimination and racism as the main barriers to the insertion of immigrants in the work environment. The highlight of this research is the analysis of the insertion of immigrants in the context of agroindustry, being a topic with little published material and few researches that expose the context of agroindustry and the relations with the diaspora. Presenting in its conclusion the main difficulties of the immigrant's insertion in the agro-industrial work environment, highlighting prejudice and cultural differences as critical points of these interactions. -
