ILLEGAL FISHING AND ARTISANAL OVERFISHING IN THE REDUCTION OF FISHING VOLUME IN THE ILO COASTLINE

El objetivo del presente trabajo fue determinar la relación de la pesca ilegal, la sobre pesca artesanal en la reducción de volumen de pesca en el litoral de Ilo, para lo cual, el método de investigación es no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño descriptivo, transversal, en una población de 3000 pescadores artesanales y una muestra de 65 unidades. Como resultado se puede decir que 80% de aparejos de pesca artesanal en embarcaciones hasta 25 millas son cerco y bolichito. Un 13.85% de aparejos de pesca de altura de 10 a 200 millas se realiza con espinel, pinta y otros. Un 4.62% de aparejo de pesca artesanal en pesca no embarcada de orilla hasta 5 millas son con cortina, buceo trasmallo. Un 1.53% de aparejo de pesca artesanal de las orillas hasta 1 milla es con chinchorro manual y mecanizado. Un 40% opinaron la reducción de volumen de pesca en el litoral de Ilo se debe a la sobre pesca, un 30.77% opinaron que la causa es la pesca ilegal y un 29.23% opinaron que la causa en la pesca inferior a la talla mínima de captura, se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre la pesca ilegal, la sobre pesca artesanal en la reducción de volumen de pesca en el litoral de Ilo. Un 80% de aparejos de pesca artesanal se realiza con cerco y bolichito, un 13.85% de aparejo de pesca hasta 1 milla con chinchorro manual y mecanizado; un 29.23% capturan peces inferiores a la talla mínima.
