IGREJA CATÓLICA E A FORMAÇÃO DE ORGANIZAÇÕES SOCIAIS EM SANTA LUZIA D’OESTE/RO (1980-2017)
Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir
o papel da Igreja Católica e a formação de
organizações sociais em Santa Luzia D´Oeste/
RO entre 1980 à 2017. Para isso, dialogamos
com narrativas produzidas com trabalhadores,
com a imprensa local e de circulação nacional.
Buscamos trazer para o campo da reflexão
histórica experiências de luta pela terra e pela
garantia de direitos sociais.

Abstract:
This article aims to discuss the
role of the Catholic Church and the formation
of social organizations in Santa Luzia D West/
RO ´ between 1980 to 2017. For this, the way
we deal with narratives produced with workers,
with the local press and national movement. We
seek to bring to the field of historical reflection
experiences of struggle for land and the
guarantee of social rights.
