Abstract: This work aims to present a reorganization of the bone material present in the Science Teaching Laboratory at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), as well as to highlight the importance of an osteological collection for the teaching and learning process in Human Anatomy studies. The work began with the organization of the material, selecting the best-preserved pieces according to their morphological characteristics and laterality. They were then identified with black or white Nankin ink under a thin layer of colorless enamel previously applied to the bones and finally stored in a cabinet exclusively for bone material. In addition, a digital catalog in Word format with information on the pieces, considering laterality and quantity, was created to facilitate control and access to the pieces.
