Abstract: Native stingless bees (Hymenoptera: Apidae, Meliponini) have contributed considerably to the maintenance of natural and agricultural ecosystems by providing pollination services. Symbiotic relationships play a key role in the survival of some species of these animals. The objective of the present study was to carry out the identification of fungi existing in the internal environment of beehives of the Jataí (Tetragonisca angustula) and Bugia (Melipona mondury) bee species, belonging to the AIRETAMA meliponary, located in the municipality of São Francisco do Sul - SC. For the adventure, 5 boxes of the AIRETAMA® model of each bee species used in the study were drawn at random, in duplicate, totaling 20 samples. The petri plates containing the Potato-Dextrose-Agar culture medium used in the coordination were deposited inside the melgueira module, the exposure time of the plates was equivalent to 1 hour. Then, they were properly identified, packaged and transported to the microbiology laboratory of the Instituto Federal Catarinense (IFC) Campus Araquari for their respective processing, fungal identification was performed using the microculture technique. The fungal genera found were: Aspergillus spp.; Penicillium spp.; Curvularia spp. and Fusarium spp.
