Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile of patients with patella fractures in a Tertiary Hospital and its relationship with post-treatment pain. We carried out a case study with a significant sample of patients from a medium to large city. Data were collected through interviews and medical records, ensuring confidentiality. The information was analyzed statistically, generating tables and graphs to characterize patients with patella fractures. The results indicated that the majority of those affected were female and had transverse fractures, with good recovery after treatment. Furthermore, post-treatment pain was more common among patients who underwent surgery compared to those treated conservatively. These findings were validated by comparing them with existing literature, which generally agrees with the conclusions of this study.
