IDENTIDADE E ALTERIDADE EM ESPELHO MEU
O tema dicotômico identidade/alteridade presente no conto Espelho meu é o ponto de partida para reafirmar a importância da literatura de autoria feminina paraense. Espelho meu narra a história da personagem-protagonista, uma menina que dialeticamente está na busca de sua identidade, que quer descobrir-se, está na busca de Si Mesmo. É alguém que procura a autoafirmação em confronto com o Outro. Uma personagem identificada como o ser humano que procura a autorrealização, que está na construção do Si: é a busca de seu posicionamento numa sociedade machista e sexista, uma vez que esse posicionamento é resultado de sua condição de gênero. Nesse contexto, a menina protagonista, ao olhar-se no espelho e descobrir que cresceu, que se tornou ou está se tornando uma mulher, percebe-se que há a representação de sua autonomia e por isso acentua a individualidade feminina, que amplia o indivíduo que busca sua emancipação social, política e sexual.

Abstract:
The dichotomous theme of identity/otherness, present in the short-story Espelho meu (Mirror of Mine), is the starting point to reaffirm the importance of literature by women authors from Pará. Espelho meu (Mirror of Mine) tells the story of the protagonist-character, a girl who is dialectically in search of her identity, who wants to discover herself, is in search of herself. She is someone who seeks self-affirmation in confrontation with the Other. A character identified as the human being who seeks self-realization, who is in the construction of the Self: it is the search for her positioning in a sexist and macho society, since this positioning is the result of her fender condition. In this context, the girl protagonist, when looking in the mirror and discovering that she has grown up, that she has become or is becoming a woman, one realizes that there is a representation of her autonomy and therefore accentuates the feminine individuality, which expands the individual who seeks her social, political and sexual emancipation.
