IDEIAS DE H. J. KOELLREUTTER PARA EDUCAÇÃO MUSICAL NO BRASIL E SUA POSIÇÃO QUANTO AO PAPEL DA ESCUTA
O artigo apresenta aspectos da
influência de Hans Joachim Koellreutter na
prática musical e pedagógica no Brasil. A partir
da segunda metade do século XX, Koellreutter
iniciou um movimento de aproximação da
música contemporânea no Brasil, entre elas
está o “Movimento Musica Viva” em 1938 e
vários escritos sobre educação musical. Além
de apresentar o cenário musical brasileiro
o artigo também elucida pontos cruciais
para o entendimento de sua obra, como seu
pensamento interdisciplinar se apropriando
de conteúdos extra-musicais para explicar a
música e seu pensamento pedagógico. Isso
foi realizado por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica
com textos do próprio Koellreutter organizadas
por Kater (1997) e outros autores brasileiros,
difundindo suas idéias de maneira a encaminhar
um melhor entendimento de suas obras e
movimentos. O texto sobre estética referido pelo
autor como Estética Relativista do Impreciso e
Paradoxal é resultado de cursos lecionados por
ele e que não foram publicados e, portanto, este
ensaio recorreu a dissertação de mestrado de
Casnok (1992). Sobre os aspectos auditivos
a partir da abordagem de Koellreutter verificase a atenção para uma escuta mais ampla
envolvendo diferentes timbres. A discussão
também envolve outras áreas de conhecimento
o qual o autor fundamenta sua postura estética.

Abstract:
The article presents aspects of
the influence of Hans Joachim Koellreutter
in the musical and pedagogical practice in
Brazil. From the second half of the twentieth
century, Koellreutter began a movement to
approach contemporary music in Brazil, among
them is the “Live Music Movement” in 1938
and several writings on musical education. In
addition to presenting the Brazilian musical
scene, the article also elucidates crucial points
for the understanding of his work, as his
interdisciplinary thinking appropriating extramusical contents to explain music and his
pedagogical thinking. This was done through
a bibliographical research with Koellreutter’s
own texts organized by Kater (1997) and other
Brazilian authors, spreading their ideas in
order to provide a better understanding of their works and movements. The text on aesthetics referred to by the author as Relativistic
Aesthetics of the Inaccurate and Paradoxical is the result of courses taught by him and
that were not published and, therefore, this essay resorted to the masters dissertation of
Casnok (1992). Concerning the auditory aspects from Koellreutter’s approach attention
is drawn to a broader listening involving different timbres. The discussion also involves
other areas of knowledge which the author bases his aesthetic posture.
