ICTIOFAUNA DOS RIOS ARINOS E RIO DOS PEIXES, DRENAGEM RIO JURUENA, TAPAJÓS
Há um conjunto de tributários da margem direita do Amazonas, também com grande diversidade na fauna íctica, dentre esses se destaca o Tapajós, que tem como tributário o Juruena, e como seu afluente direto o rio Arinos. O objetivo desta pesquisa é a caracterização da comunidade íctica existente na porção média do rio Arinos e sua confluência com o rio dos Peixes, Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Juruena. Para amostragem da ictiofauna foram demarcados doze trechos que incluíram uma variedade de ambientes habitados por peixes. Utilizou-se para amostragem de forma padronizada rede de espera, que eram alocadas em remansos naturais do rio próximo a vegetação e na entrada de lagoas. Amostragens adicionais foram feitas com uso de arrasto, puçá e tarrafa em trechos da margem rasa e areia. A pesca e espinhel foram realizados em área do canal do Rio Arinos e dos Peixes. Para a área amostrada do médio Rio Arinos e no Rio dos Peixes foram registrados 8.036 exemplares de peixes, pertencentes a 6 ordens, 27 famílias, 87 gêneros e 149 espécies, sendo em março amostrados 2382 exemplares de 94 espécies, setembro 3577 exemplares de 95 espécies e dezembro 2077 exemplares de 82 espécies. Quando comparadas as três coletas nos 12 trechos amostrais, verifica-se que existe uma alternância nos valores de riqueza abundância e diversidade que podem estar associados a disponibilidade de habitats e refúgio para as espécies de pequeno e médio porte. Os valores de riqueza e abundância refletem diretamente nos índices de diversidade e pode estar associados a permanência dos peixes nas margens alagadas dos corpos d’água onde existe uma maior disponibilidade de recursos alimentares e refúgios.

Abstract:
There is a set of tributaries on the right bank of the Amazon, also with a great diversity of its fauna, among them the Tapajós, which has tributaries Juruena, and as its direct tributary the Arinos river. The objective of this research is the characterization of the fish community existing in the middle portion of the Arinos river and its confluence with the Peixes of river, Juruena river Basin. For the sampling of the ichthyofauna were marked twelve sections that included a variety of environments inhabited by fish. Waiting network was used to standardize sampling, which were allocated in the natural backwaters of the river near the vegetation and the entrance of ponds. Additional samplings were made using drag, shovel, and tarrafa in stretches of the shallow shore and sand. Fishing and longline fishing were carried out in the area of the Arinos and Pisces river channel. For the sampled area of the Arinos river and the Peixes of river, 8,036 specimens of fish were registered, belonging to 6 orders, 27 families, 87 genera and 149 species. In march, 2382 specimens of 94 species were registered, in september 3577 specimens of 95 species and december 2077 specimens of 82 species. When comparing the three collections in the 12 sample stretches, there is an alternation in the abundance and diversity richness values that may be associated with habitat availability and shelter for small and medium-sized species. The values of richness and abundance reflect directly on the diversity indexes and may be associated with the permanence of the fish in the flooded margins of water bodies where there is a greater availability of food resources and refuges.
