Humanização e Erotização do Vampiro na Literatura Contemporânea
Os vampiros são seres fascinantes que desde sua existência instigam a curiosidade e o fascínio das pessoas sobre sua figura enigmática. Dessa forma, o presente artigo foi desenvolvido a partir de questionamentos acerca do que faz as pessoas serem tão fascinadas pela figura do vampiro, esse ser que povoa a cultura de vários povos e as mentes dos supersticiosos, em pleno século XXI. Assim sendo, o seguinte trabalho procurou aprofundar o estudo nas raízes históricas, nos fatos, mitos e lendas sobre os vampiros, com o intuito de recriar a verdadeira imagem dessa criatura, para confrontá-la com a dos vampiros literários dos séculos XIX, Drácula, de Bram Stoker, e XX, Lestat, da obra O Vampiro Lestat, de Anne Rice, observando o processo de humanização e erotização durante a transição do mito para a literatura nas respectivas obras.

Abstract:
Vampires are fascinating creatures that since their existence have instigate people's curiosity and fascination about their enigmatic image. So, the present article was written from questions about what makes people so fascinated by the vampire’s image, the creature that populates the culture of many people and the minds of the superstitious in the 21st century. Thus, the following work was intended to investigate the historical roots, facts, myths and legends about vampires in order to recreate the true image of this creature, to confront it with that one of 19th literary vampires, Dracula, by Bram Stoker, and 20th, Lestat, by Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat, observing the process of humanization and eroticization during the transition from myth to literature in their works.
