• Abstract: This study presents the results of several interviews with the purpose of providing analysis, answers and possible suggestions to the problem of ¿Why do Afro-descendant women from the Chota Valley not access doctoral studies? In this research, the participation of women who are native and/or residents of this territory and who have already obtained a master's degree has been considered. It is also worth mentioning that it is a study that presents various aspects of study taking into account economic conditions, type of home/marital status/number of sons and daughters, aspects of employability and their conditions were also investigated.
