HISTÓRICO SOBRE AS TECNOLOGIAS DE ILUMINAÇÃO UTILIZADAS PELO SER HUMANO: UM TEMA COM AMPLO POTENCIAL PARA DISCUSSÕES EM SALA DE AULA
Neste trabalho é apresentado um
estudo sobre a evolução dos instrumentos de
iluminação desde a era pré-histórica até os dias
atuais, os avanços tecnológicos no que tange
à iluminação e os principais modelos utilizados
pelo homem a partir do primeiro conceito de
lâmpada. Após as lâmpadas a óleo animal e a gás,
houve a popularização das lâmpadas elétricas,
em especial das lâmpadas incandescentes
que trouxeram ao homem um novo conceito
de iluminação. Com isso, o trabalho descreve
de forma sucinta do que são constituídas as
lâmpadas incandescentes, de descarga, de
indução e de LED, tal como sua eficiência e
vida útil. Descreve-se ainda a OLED, que além
de uma tendência, já é uma realidade, uma vez
que as pesquisas sobre essa tecnologia têm
crescido exponencialmente. O trabalho expõe
a potencialidade que esse tema tem para ser
trabalhado em sala se aula, e sua adequação
a alguns dos temas estruturadores contidos
nas orientações dos Parâmetros Curriculares
Nacionais. É possível, com esta temática,
realizar um trabalho de forma interdisciplinar
entre o professor de Física e os professores
de outras disciplinas como História, Biologia
e Química. A discussão do tema em sala de
aula pode fomentar uma aproximação entre
ciência, tecnologia e sociedade, uma vez que
a sociedade atual é dependente da iluminação,
porém essa ainda não deu conta de conviver de
forma ecologicamente sustentável em relação
ao uso das tecnologias produtoras de luz.

Abstract:
This work presents a study on the
evolution of lighting instruments from the prehistoric era to the present day, the technological
advances in lighting and the main models used
by man from the first concept of lamp. After the
oil and gas lamps, there was the popularization
of electric lamps, especially the incandescent
lamps that brought to man a new concept of
lighting. With this, the paper briefly describes
what incandescent, discharge, induction and
LED lamps are made of, such as their efficiency
and service life. We also describe the OLED,
which in addition to a trend, is already a reality, since research on this technology have
grown exponentially. The paper exposes the potentiality of this topic to be worked in
the classroom and its adequacy to some of the structuring themes contained in the
guidelines of the National Curricular Parameters. It is possible, with this theme, to carry
out an interdisciplinary work between the Physics teacher and the teachers of other
disciplines such as History, Biology and Chemistry. The discussion of the theme in the
classroom can foster an approximation between science, technology and society, since
current society is dependent on enlightenment, but it has not yet managed to coexist in
an ecologically sustainable way in relation to the use of light.
