HISTÓRIA, POLÍTICA E EDUCAÇÃO NO CINEMA DE BERNARDO BERTOLUCCI
O cinema de Bertolucci que se baseia
em obras literárias, pode ser considerado como
um cinema ― de classe, pela inserção de uma
realidade correspondente à do próprio autor.
É uma obra que se realiza desde - e sobre -
a burguesia, mas também para - e contra - a
burguesia. Por outro lado, sua obra pode ser
instigante para ser trabalhada no sistema
educacional. Nesse sentido, ao pensarmos
a relação entre Educação, História e Política
somos levados a considerar que a educação
deve ser vista como mediação no processo
de emancipação humana pressupondo a
compreensão de que o homem se constitui,
dialeticamente, a partir de atividades humanas
que se objetivam pelo processo de comunicação
nas relações interpessoais, entre sujeitos
com diferentes níveis de domínio da cultura,
entendida como produção histórica e memorial
elaborada pelo conjunto dos homens, e que
tem como finalidade a promoção do humano no
homem. À luz do que referimos pretendemos
neste texto analisar duas obras de Bertolucci
pela ordem cronológica de sua realização: ―
Antes da revolução” (1964) e ― O conformista”
(1970). Em relação ao período histórico a trama
de ― Antes da revolução” (1964) se situa nos
anos 1960 e a de ― O conformista” (1970)
ocorre nos anos do fascismo italiano (1921-
1943). Mas antes faremos uma breve análise
sobre as relações entre história e cinema.
Finalizaremos nossas reflexões tecendo
algumas considerações sobre o modo como
os olhares nas tramas cinematográficas de
Bertolucci se podem constituir como desafios
para os educadores.

Abstract:
Bertolucci ‘s cinema, which is
based on literary works, can be considered as
a cinema - class, by the insertion of a reality
corresponding to that of the author himself. It
is a work that takes place from - and on - the
bourgeoisie, but also for - and against - the
bourgeoisie. On the other hand, his work can
be exciting to be worked on in the educational
system. In this sense, when we think about
the relationship between Education, History
and Politics we are led to consider that
education should be seen as mediation in the
process of human emancipation presupposing
the understanding that man is constituted,
dialectically, from human activities that aim by
the process of communication in interpersonal
relations, between subjects with different levels
of cultural domain, understood as historical and memorial production elaborated by all men, and whose purpose is the promotion of the
human in man. In the light of the above, we intend to analyze two works by Bertolucci
in the chronological order of their realization: - Before the revolution “(1964) and - The
conformist” (1970). In relation to the historical period, the plot of Before the Revolution
(1964) was in the 1960s and that of “The Conformist” (1970) occurs in the years of
Italian fascism (1921-1943). But before we do a brief analysis on the relations between
history and cinema. We will conclude our reflections by making some considerations
about how the looks in the cinematographic plot of Bertolucci can be presented as
challenges for educators.
