HISTÓRIA ORAL: CONSTRUINDO CONHECIMENTOS E (RE)VENDO O MUNDO ATRAVÉS DE REMINISCÊNCIAS
A história oral é um ramo da
historiografia que cuida das dimensões vivas
da história: as memórias. Pelo fato de centrarse
na memória humana, tem o testemunho vivo
como método de sua concepção e a maneira
com que a memória pessoal de um sujeito
desvela aspectos do passado e dialoga com
a coletividade. Neste artigo buscamos trazer
reflexões produzidas pelo grupo de pesquisa
ECUS- Educação, Culturas e Sustentabilidade/
UFJF no contexto de implementação de
projetos de pesquisa e extensão e , ao longo do
texto, abordamos aspectos históricos, teóricometodológicos
e procedimentos práticos no uso
da metodologia da História Oral. Dessa forma,
o artigo reafirma a contribuição da metodologia
da história oral na produção do conhecimento
e também como forma de repensar a história
tradicional.

Abstract:
Oral history is a field that studies
the live dimensions of history: the memories.
For having as its center the human memory, oral
history has the live testimony as a conception
method and the way that the personal memory of
a subject unravels aspects of its past and dialogs
with the collectivity. In this article we seek to bring
reflections produced by the estudy group ECUS
- Education, Culture and Sustainability/ UFJF in
the context of implementation of research and
extension projects and, throughout the text, we
approach historical, theoretical, methodological
aspects, as well as procedural practices in the
use of the Oral History methodology. In that
sense, the article reinforces the contribution of
oral history’s methodology in the production
of knowledge and also as a form of rethink
traditional history.
