História e simbologia dos jogos olímpicos
O objetivo desta ação foi proporcionar
aos alunos das Escolas Municipais Estina
Campi Baptista e Fausto dos Santos Amaral,
no município de Praia Grande, o conhecimento
e a compreensão da simbologia que representa
os Jogos Olímpicos, bem como a história
deste evento desportivo. Para isso houve uma
intervenção junto aos alunos que obedeceu a
seguinte organização: 1) apreciação – onde
foi aplicada uma palestra referente ao tema,
bem como aulas expositivas sobre o evento e
os esportes nele inseridos; e 2) vivência – que
foram desenvolvidos a prática das modalidades,
o rito do evento e a competição. O contato
com a história e o significado da simbologia
dos Jogos Olímpicos despertou bastante
interesse nos alunos e em alguns funcionários
da unidade, que se sentiram estimulados a
disseminar informações sobre o evento em
todos os acessos da escola, facilitando assim,
a aquisição do conhecimento proposto aos
alunos. Conclui-se que o estímulo de uma
educação em um contexto geral acerca dos
Jogos Olímpicos é de fundamental importância
para que o aluno adquira o conhecimento não
apenas sobre o esporte em si, mas a vasta
gama de informações que cercam à sua prática,
sejam elas físicas, históricas ou simbólicas.

Abstract:
The purpose of this action was to
provide to the students of Estina Campi Baptista
and Fausto dos Santos Amaral Municipal
Schools, in Praia Grande, the knowledge of the
symbolism that represents the Olympic Games,
as well as the history of this sporting event. For
this purpose there was an intervention with the
students that obeyed the following organization:
1) appreciation - where a lecture related to the
theme was applied, as well as lectures about
the event and the sports inserted in it; and 2)
experience - that the practice of the modalities,
the rite of the event and the competition were
developed. The contact with the history and
meaning of the symbolism of the Olympic
Games aroused much interest in the students
and some staff of the unit, who were encouraged
to disseminate information about the event in all
school accesses, thus facilitating the acquisition of the proposed knowledge. to the
students. It is concluded that the stimulation of an education in a general context about
the Olympic Games is of fundamental importance for the student to acquire knowledge
not only about the sport itself, but the wide range of information surrounding its practice,
be it physical, historical or symbolic.
