HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL SISTÊMICA EM IDOSOS: FALTA DE ADESÃO AO TRATAMENTO MEDICAMENTOSO
Objetivo: Identificar os fatores que levam à falta de adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso da hipertensão arterial sistêmica em idosos. Métodos e materiais: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, a busca de dados foi realizada na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), MEDLINE, BDENF e LILACS, por meio de artigos científicos, publicados no idioma português, relacionados à temática de investigação com os seguintes descritores: Adesão à Medicação, Hipertensão, Idoso, no idioma português. A pesquisa teve por limite temporal os últimos 05 anos, tendo sido somente incluídos os estudos realizados do ano 2016 ao ano 2021. Resultado: Identificou-se nos artigos científicos os fatores que levam à falta de adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso da HAS em idosos, sendo eles: Ausência de sintomas e esquecimento, falta de conhecimento em relação a doença, polifarmácia e efeitos colaterais, rede de apoio e dificuldade de acesso ao sistema de saúde e recusa emocional. Considerações finais: Considera-se que esses achados podem proporcionar subsídios para a realização de intervenções na assistência aos pacientes que vivem com HAS com o objetivo de aumentar o índice de adesão ao tratamento, como também melhorar cada vez mais sua qualidade de vida.

Abstract:
To identify the factors that lead to lack of adherence to drug treatment for systemic arterial hypertension in the elderly. Methods and materials: This is an integrative literature review, the data search was performed in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), MEDLINE, BDENF and LILACS, through scientific articles, published in Portuguese, related to the research theme with the following descriptors: Adherence to Medication, Hypertension, Elderly, in Portuguese. The research had the last 05 years as a time limit, and only studies carried out from the year 2016 to the year 2021 were included. Result: The factors that lead to lack of adherence to the drug treatment of SAH in the elderly were identified in the scientific articles. they: Absence of symptoms and forgetfulness, lack of knowledge about the disease, polypharmacy and side effects, support network and difficulty in accessing the health system and emotional refusal. Final considerations: It is considered that these findings can provide support for the realization of care in the care of patients who live with the objective of increasing the rate of adherence to treatment, as well as improving their quality of life.
