HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL SISTÊMICA: DESENVOLVIMENTO DE MATERIAL EDUCATIVO PARA SERVIÇOS DE SAÚDE
Os serviços de saúde detêm um grande desafio na promoção da saúde e prevenção de doenças crônicas como a Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica e o desenvolvimento de materiais educativos são uma estratégia utilizada para conscientizar a população sobre hábitos saudáveis. O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver um material educativo direcionado à população idosa para os serviços de saúde. O material educativo foi elaborado a partir de uma Revisão Sistemática sobre as estratégias de educação em saúde utilizadas pelos profissionais e sobre relatos de pesquisa durante entrevista com idosos para verificação de fatores associados à hipertensão. Para a confecção do material educativo, optou-se por desenvolver folder em formato de um mapa mental, que é um instrumento claro e objetivo, que utiliza frases curtas e figuras. Juntamente com o mapa mental foi elaborado outro material, um imã de geladeira, para complementar e alcançar os objetivos do folder que, no centro, tem a figura de um coração para associar com a hipertensão. O material elaborado destacou informações sobre a importância do tema, o tratamento, dicas de hábitos saudáveis e a relação com o sobrepeso. Vale ressaltar a importância de se conhecer as reais necessidades da população atendida pelos serviços de saúde para a qual se pretende elaborar os materiais de educação em saúde.

Abstract:
Health services face a major challenge in health promotion and prevention of chronic diseases such as Systemic Arterial Hypertension and the development of educational materials are a strategy used to raise awareness about healthy habits. The objective of this work was to develop educational material aimed at the elderly population for health services. The educational material was prepared based on a Systematic Review on the health education strategies used by professionals and on research reports during interviews with the elderly to verify factors associated with hypertension. For the preparation of educational material, it was decided to develop a folder in the form of a mind map, which is a clear and objective instrument, which uses short phrases and figures. Together with the mental map, the creation of another material, a fridge magnet, was thought to complement and achieve the objectives of the folder, which, in the center, has the figure of a heart to associate with hypertension. The elaborated material highlighted information about the importance of the topic, the treatment, tips on healthy habits and the relationship with overweight. It is worth mentioning the importance of knowing the real needs of the population served by health services, in order to develop health education materials.
