Abstract: The objective of the study is to propose a reflection on the teaching-learning process of health education from the perspective of philosophical hermeneutics. Understanding the evolution of hermeneutics over the years and Gadamer's influences on production, as a philosophical and methodological basis. The relevance of using philosophical hermeneutics from Gadamer's perspective is highlighted for analyzing data both from documentary studies and from data collection with participants. It is worth highlighting the expansion of knowledge for the researcher involved, and the possible inferences for improving Nursing training, in health education.
