Abstract: Introduction: Septic shock is a critical condition characterized by circulatory dysfunction and tissue hypoperfusion, with a high mortality rate. Advanced hemodynamic monitoring allows a more precise approach in the diagnosis and management, optimizing fluid resuscitation and vasopressor support. Objective: To discuss advances in hemodynamic monitoring applied to the diagnosis and treatment of septic shock in intensive care. Methodology: A literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Scielo, and Cochrane Library, selecting recent studies on advanced hemodynamic monitoring in septic shock. Results: Advanced techniques include pulse contour analysis, transesophageal Doppler, and hemodynamic biomarkers. Evidence suggests these tools enable early assessment of tissue perfusion, personalized fluid therapy adjustment, and optimization of vasopressor therapy, reducing mortality and duration of mechanical ventilation. Conclusion: The incorporation of advanced strategies in hemodynamic monitoring improves the prognosis of patients with septic shock, allowing earlier and individualized interventions. Proper use of these technologies can reduce complications and optimize clinical outcomes in intensive care.
