HANSENÍASE: O ACERVO COMPLICADO
A hanseníase é uma doença infectocontagiosa crônica, considerada grave problema de saúde pública endêmica no Brasil. Este estudo objetiva relatar dois casos de pacientes com hanseníase virchowiana com reação hansênica tipo 2 que precisaram de abordagens terapêuticas diferentes. Foi feita coleta de dados em prontuários arquivados nas respectivas unidades de tratamento, sendo o primeiro paciente tratado ambulatorialmente e o outro paciente tratado em ambiente hospitalar. Ambos os doentes receberam tratamento colocar tratamento adequado de acordo com as diretrizes atuais. Após resolução dos quadros, nenhum dos pacientes apresentou grau de incapacidade física e continuaram o tratamento da doença em ambiente ambulatorial

Abstract:
Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease, considered a serious endemic public health problem in Brazil. Theis study aims to report two cases of leprosy patients with type 2 leprosy who needed different therapeutic approaches. Data were collected from medical records filed in the respective treatment units, with the first patient being treated in an outpatient clinic and the other patient being treated in a hospital environment. Both patients received treatment placing adequate treatment according to current guidelines. After resolution of the conditions, none of the patients had a degree of physical disability and continued treatment of the disease in an outpatient setting.
