HABITAR EM CONTEXTOS HÍBRIDOS: PRESENÇA SOCIAL, RIQUEZA MÉDIA, AUTO-APRESENTAÇÃO E AUTORREVELAÇÃO NO DIGITAL
Nesse trabalho, intenta-se apresentar discussões provenientes de estudo etnográfico realizado em um contexto específico de hibridismo das inter-relações mediadas por artefatos digitais. Tal contexto remete a um grupo de pessoas, residentes em um mesmo prédio, que adotariam um aplicativo multiplataforma de mensagens instantâneas configurado em tecnologia móvel (o WhatsApp), como principal instrumento de mediação em suas inter-relações cotidianas. Problemáticas referentes a privacidade e controle foram evidenciadas e distribuídas ao longo da discussão conforme 4 categorias, sendo essas: presença social, riqueza média, auto-apresentação e autorrevelação

Abstract:
In this work, we intend to present discussions from an ethnographic study carried out in a specific context of hybridity of interrelationships mediated by digital artifacts. This context refers to a group of people, residing in the same building, who would adopt a multiplatform instant messaging application configured in mobile technology (WhatsApp) as the main instrument of mediation in their daily interrelationships. Issues related to privacy and control were highlighted and distributed throughout the discussion according to 4 categories, namely: social presence, media richness, self-presentation and self-disclousure.
