HABITANDO NO CATIVEIRO DA INCERTEZA: A MODERNIDADE LÍQUIDA DE BAUMAN
Este artigo toma como partida o conceito do sociólogo polonês Zygmunt Bauman de Modernidade líquida para compreender a Modernidade e seus desdobramentos. Contudo, faz-se necessário vislumbrar o significado e as implicações desse período histórico e seus desdobramentos, mais precisamente a experiência do sujeito moderno e os elementos que tornaram possível esse construct sociocultural, cuja extensão e probabilidade estão desaparecendo, diluindo e desfazendo-se. Essa mudança é marcada pelo fim da história, do sujeito, da metafísica e da transcendência. Tal postura não deixa incólume o discurso das ciências humanas, constituindo-se em um espaço de novas práticas e desafios. O que tentaremos apontar é que a Modernidade líquida é antes de tudo, um lugar de mudança social. Partimos da premissa de que o pensamento ocidental não pode mais garantir uma legitimidade de discursos abrangentes e universalistas, tidos hoje como obsoletos. Com base nessa leitura, propomos identificar alguns desafios nos diferentes níveis.

Abstract:
The article discusses the concept of the Liquid Modernity of Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman to understand Modernity and its developments, it is necessary to glimpse the meaning and implications of this historical period and its developments, more precisely the experience of modern subject and the elements that made possible this sociocultural construct, the extent and probability of which is disappearing, diluting and unraveling. This change in world order is marked by the end of history, the subject, metaphysics, and transcendence. Such a stance does not leave the discourse of the human sciences untouched, constituting a space of new practices and challenges. What we will try to point out is that liquid modernity is first and foremost a place of social change. We start from the premise that Western thinking can no longer guarantee the legitimacy of comprehensive and universalist discourses hat are now considered obsolete. Based on this reading, we propose to identify some challenges at different levels.
