GRUPO DE PESQUISA EDUCAÇÃO MATEMÁTICA: ALGUNS ENFOQUES E SUAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA FORMAÇÃO DE FUTUROS PESQUISADORES

• Abstract:

  This article aims to present the research group called Mathematical

  Education of which we are part and some approaches and main theoretical references

  that support research carried out with the postgraduate program of Science Education

  of UNESP (Bauru campus) and point out the main contributions of the activities of this

  Group to the formation of future researchers in the area of Science and Mathematics

  Teaching. The approaches we will present include: (a) discussion on the use of alternative

  teaching methodologies, more specifically problem solving and mathematical research;

  (b) debate about teacher education from the perspective of the teaching professional

  identity and the question of autonomy; (c) notes about the mathematics curriculum

  and the use of information and communication technologies, focusing on learning

  objects and robotics. As a result we point out that the activities and work developed

  by the group “Mathematical Education”, about which we commented in this article,

  have brought important contributions to the formation and academic trajectory of each

  member, assisted in the development of research projects and in the discussion and

  elaboration of works on the themes investigated.
