GROUNDED THEORY COMO METODOLOGIA DE PESQUISA EM EDUCAÇÃO MATEMÁTICA: CONTRIBUIÇÕES, RACIOCÍNIO E PROCEDIMENTOS
Este artigo parte do nosso desejo de incitar uma discussão entre pares a respeito do método Grounded Theory (GT). Para tanto, apresentamos as contribuições da GT no desenvolvimento da Dissertação de Mestrado de um dos autores. Com vistas a contribuir com a disseminação do método junto à comunidade de pesquisadores em Educação Matemática, serão apresentados os procedimentos e técnicas na prática da pesquisa, a partir da amostragem teórica, a quebra e análise de dados e a sensibilidade teórica. Consideramos a importância de desmistificar os conceitos inerentes à análise dos dados e ressaltar como esta metodologia qualitativa pode apoiar investigações no Campo de Educação Matemática.

Abstract:
This article starts from our desire to incite a discussion among peers regarding the Grounded Theory (GT) method. Therefore, we present the the contributions of the GT in the development of the Master's Dissertation of one of the authors. With a view to contributing to the dissemination of the method among the community of researchers in Mathematics Education, procedures and techniques in research practice will be presented, based on theoretical sampling, data breaking and analysis and theoretical sensitivity. We consider the importance of demystifying the concepts inherent to data analysis and highlighting how this qualitative methodology can support investigations in the field of Mathematics Education.
