Grande Sertão Veredas: territórios produzidos entre a literatura e os sujeitos (des) (re) territorializados
O Parque Nacional Grande Sertão Veredas foi criado para preservar a diversidade físico-cultural do lugar característico dos Gerais expressos no romance rosiano Grande Sertão: Veredas. Uma narrativa geográfica que descreve os elementos do bioma Cerrado: naturais e culturais. Objetiva-se aqui relacionar ideologias, sobre ocupação, progresso, modernidade em especial, suas consequências à Sociobiodiversidade na região norte e noroeste de Minas Gerais, proximidades ao Parque Nacional Grande Sertão Veredas. Identifica-se neste espaço a interação entre distintos entes atuantes a interesses divergentes e conflituantes: áreas de proteção ambiental, progressão do monocultivo e predomínio da agroindústria. Fatos que culminam na desterritorialização das populações tradicionais que ocupam há séculos essa região. Existe uma forma de equilíbrio entre essas duas perspectivas tão polarizadas? Onde avançar para um desenvolvimento integral socioambiental da região e onde recuar para preservar territórios de significância cultural, ambiental, para manutenção dessas expressões basilares ao constructo sociocultural brasileiro?

Abstract:
The Grande Sertão Veredas National Park was created to preserve the physical and cultural diversity of the place characteristic “Gerais”, common areas, expressed in the romance of João Guimarães Rosa, Grande Sertão: Veredas. A geographic narrative that describes the elements of the Brazilian biome Cerrado, its natural and cultural characteristics. The objective here is to relate ideologies, about occupation, progress, modernity in particular, its consequences to Sociobiodiversity in the North and Northwest of the Minas Gerais. In this space, the interaction between different entities that act to divergent and conflicting interests is identified: areas of environmental protection, the progression of monoculture and the predominance of agroindustry. Facts that culminate in the deterritorialization of the traditional populations that have occupied this region for centuries. Is there a way to balance these two polarized perspectives? Where to advance towards an integral socio-environmental development of the region and where to retreat to preserve territories of cultural and environmental significance, to maintain these basic expressions of the Brazilian socio-cultural construct?
