Abstract: School dropout in rural contexts is not merely a phenomenon of economic deprivation, but a crisis of belonging and meaning. In the department of Cauca (Colombia), the disconnection between the standardized curriculum and territorial reality exacerbates school abandonment. This paper proposes a local governance model based on Research-Intervention, which will articulate the "Happiness Chair" with "Agroecological Routes" as strategies for retention and peace. Under a Geopolitics of Educational Counter-power approach, the projected experience at the Santa Elena Educational Institution will be analyzed. Qualitative methods were used to capture the initial perceptions of a purposive sample of 81 participants from the educational community regarding the relationship between subjective well-being, sustainability, and school permanence. It is expected that when students perceive school as a space for building happiness linked to their territory, an "attachment effect" will be generated to neutralize the exclusionary forces of the system. It is argued that inclusion and sustainable educational development will be possible by integrating emotional health and territorial identity, proposing a replicable path for post-conflict contexts and dispersed rurality.
