Abstract: GnRH agonist therapy has been widely employed across various medical conditions. However, emerging concerns have arisen regarding its impact on bone health, especially among elderly women. This review addresses the interplay between GnRH agonist usage and bone mineral density in elderly women, highlighting potential osteoporosis risks. While results underscore a clear relationship between the therapy and diminished bone density, concurrent strategies, such as bisphosphonate administration, offer potential to counteract such adverse effects.
