GESTÃO DE RESÍDUOS: A PARTIR DO CONHECIMENTO EMPÍRICO
O processo de observar e dialogar juntamente com a população da comunidade de Rolim de Moura do Guaporé foi transformada em um projeto que primeiramente priorizou a gestão de resíduos e os problemas relacionados a esse tema. Passou- se então por um processo quali-quantitativo utilizando questionários, resultando nesse estudo que irá explicar a pesquisa de campo realizada a partir do conhecimento empírico, acerca da presença ou não dos métodos utilizados na destinação dos lixos produzidos pela população e pelos turistas que frequentam periodicamente o local. Concluiu-se que há a existência de uma coleta, não sendo seletiva, sem o devido descarte apropriado, mesmo com a existência de um conhecimento sobre o que são materiais recicláveis e os métodos de separação, bem como a ciência de que os destinos finais dos resíduos são prejudiciais aos recursos naturais, à saúde pública e também reduzindo a biodiversidade presente na ilha resultando no aspecto turístico.

Abstract:
The process of observation and dialogue with the community of Rolim de Moure do Guapore was transformed into a project that first prioritized waste management and related problems. A qualitative-quantitative process was then used using questionnaires, resulting in this study that will explain the field research carried out from the empirical knowledge about the presence or not of the methods used in the destination of the garbage produced by the population and by the tourists who frequent periodically the place. It was concluded that there is a collection, not being selective, without proper disposal, even with the existence of a knowledge about what are recyclable materials and methods of separation, as well as the knowledge that the final destinations of waste are harmful to natural resources, public health and also reducing the biodiversity present on the island resulting in the tourist aspect.
