GESTÃO AMBIENTAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE O DESCARTE DE RESÍDUOS DOMÉSTICOS DE UMA COMUNIDADE DA ZONA RURAL NO MUNICÍPIO DE ITACOATIARA/AM.
Com o crescimento populacional, o descarte do lixo de maneira adequada é de suma importância para o meio ambiente, tanto na zona urbana quanto na zona rural, é necessário cuidados ao realizar esta prática, protegendo o solo e evitando poluição na natureza. Desta forma, este artigo tem como objetivo identificar as formas recorrentes de descarte de resíduos domésticos em uma comunidade da área rural do município de Itacoatiara, Amazonas. Para a elaboração do estudo, realizou-se uma visita in loco na comunidade de zona rural do município, onde foram selecionadas uma amostra de cinco famílias, as quais foram divididas em grupos e entrevistadas, com o intuito de identificar a frequência das compras, como destinavam e reciclavam seus lixos domésticos. Após o levantamento de dados, foram apresentados soluções e métodos da gestão ambiental, onde os moradores da zona rural em estudo receberam orientações para realizarem um descarte correto do lixo, e informações de conscientização ambiental, com o intuito de fazer a diferença ao bem-estar ecológico.

Abstract:
With population growth, the proper disposal of garbage is of paramount importance for the environment, both in urban and rural areas, care is needed when carrying out this practice, protecting the soil and preventing pollution in nature. Thus, this article aims to identify the recurrent forms of domestic waste disposal in a community in the rural area of the municipality of Itacoatiara, Amazonas. For the elaboration of the study, an on-site visit was made in the rural community of the municipality, where a sample of five families was selected, which were divided into groups and interviewed, in order to identify the frequency of purchases, such as destined and recycled their household waste. After collecting the data, solutions and methods of environmental management were presented, where the residents of the rural area under study were instructed to carry out the correct disposal of garbage, and information on environmental awareness, in order to make a difference to ecological well-being.
