GESTÃO AMBIENTAL NO CAMPUS MINISTRO REIS VELLOSO - UFPI: UMA QUESTÃO DE RELEVÂNCIA SOCIAL
Ao tratar da construção
de sociedades sustentáveis, o agente
governamental assume importante papel, seja
na elaboração, na execução ou na difusão de
ações que permitam o efetivo desenvolvimento
sustentável. Já que o financiamento das
Instituições Federaisde Ensino Superior - IFES
se dá por caráter público, necessita dar um
retorno para a sociedade de forma efetiva.
Nesse contexto, a pesquisa apresentou
a seguinte problemática: Quais as ações
que CMRV da UFPI realiza para gerenciar
os recursos públicos de forma sustentável,
considerando a Administração Pública? O
objetivo foi o de identificar e caracterizar as
ações realizadas pelo Campus Ministro Reis
Velloso da UFPI para gerenciar os recursos
públicos de forma sustentável. Uma pesquisa de
natureza qualitativa e exploratória bibliográfica,
cujo instrumento de coleta de dados foi uma
entrevista realizada com o diretor do Campus.
Como resultado, percebe-se que há projetos
“idealizados”, mas ainda não são postos
em prática devido às preocupações com as
atividades e responsabilidades demandadas
por cargos ocupados, e também, pelo momento
de transição vivenciado pela instituição, cujo
campus em que ocorreu esta pesquisa deixará
de ser Campus para se tornar uma universidade
independente.

Abstract:
In dealing with the construction
of sustainable societies, the governmental
agent assumes an important role, be it in the
elaboration, execution or diffusion of actions that
allow the effective sustainable development.
Since the financing of the Federal Institutions
of Higher Education - IFES is given by public
character, it needs to give a return to society in
an effective way. In this context, the research
presented the following problem: What are the
actions that CMRV of the UFPI performs to
manage public resources in a sustainable way, considering the Public Administration?
The objective was to identify and characterize the actions carried out by Campus
Ministro Reis Velloso of UFPI to manage public resources in a sustainable way. A
research of qualitative and exploratory bibliographic nature, whose instrument of data
collection was an interview with the director of the Campus. As a result, we can see
that there are “idealized” projects, but they are still not put into practice due to concerns
about the activities and responsibilities demanded by occupied positions, and also by
the moment of transition experienced by the institution, whose campus where this
occurred research will cease to be Campus to become an independent university.
