Abstract: This study seeks to understand how collective groups of peasant women act in everyday decisions in rural communities and resistance territories in the city of Jaguaruana, Ceará. This study is based on the hypothesis that collective groups of peasant women are an active part of the construction and decision-making involving their lives and the lives of their classmates. Therefore, it investigates the conditions, means and organizations created by these women to act in decision-making spaces. The field methodology is participant observation and the construction of an ethnographic account of these women's experiences through the account of Maria Elisângela Gomes Magalhães' individual experience, her life narratives, her belonging to the social movements of peasant women and their daily struggles. It also includes the transcription of this leadership's oral reports and collaborative co-writing. It is also considered that, through the involvement of peasant women in rural social movements such as the Brazilian Landless Workers Movement and the Peasant Women's Movement, there will be greater political and social action by peasant women, with an increasingly active and active voice.
