GERENCIAMENTO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS DE ATIVIDADES DE TRANSPORTE: ESTUDO DE CASO DO GERENCIAMENTO DE RESÍDUOS DOS PORTOS ADMINISTRADOS PELA COMPANHIA DOCAS DO PARÁ
No estado do Pará, a Companhia
Docas do Pará – CDP, é responsável pela
administração e exploração comercial das
unidades Portuárias do Estado. Após a
promulgação da Lei n.º 12.305/2010, a CDP
teve que elaborar o Plano de Gerenciamento
de Resíduos Sólidos – PGRS, com vistas
a promover gestão dos resíduos desde a
geração até a destinação final no âmbito de
suas Unidades Portuárias. O presente trabalho
visa realizar um paralelo entre a situação e
destino dos resíduos sólidos de atividades
de transporte no Porto de Belém, operado
pela CDP, antes e depois da implementação
do Plano Integrado de Gerenciamento de
Resíduos Sólidos. A metodologia adotada
consistiu nas seguintes etapas: diagnóstico
da situação do gerenciamento dos resíduos
sólidos de atividades de transporte no Porto
de Belém antes da implementação do Plano;
levantamento das diretrizes e dos principais
procedimentos instituídos pelo PGRS; análise
da situação atual do gerenciamento de resíduos
sólidos de atividades de transporte no Porto de
Belém, mensurando o impacto ocasionado pelo
PGRS. Dentre os resultados alcançados, ao pôr
em prática o PGRS do porto, a CDP adquiriu
e instalou em todas as áreas internas, comuns
e operacionais do Porto de Belém coletores
seletivos, bem como caixa coletora de pilhas
e baterias, também investiu em programa que
compreende ações que visam a sensibilização
da comunidade portuária com palestras,
oficinas, o que resultou na progressiva redução
do montante de resíduo gerado; imprimindo
impacto positivo que o Plano de Gerenciamento
Integrado de Resíduos Sólidos representa nas
dependências da instituição.

Abstract:
In the state of Pará, Companhia Docas do Pará - CDP is responsible
for the management and commercial operation of the State Port Units. Following
the promulgation of Law Nº. 12.305/2010, CDP had to elaborate the Solid Waste
Management Plan – PGRS, in order to promote waste management from generation
to final disposal within its Port Units. This paper aims to draw a parallel between
the situation and destination of solid waste from transportation activities at the Port
of Belém, operated by CDP, before and after the implementation of the Integrated
Solid Waste Management Plan. The adopted methodology consisted of the following
steps: diagnosis of the solid waste management situation of transport activities in the
Port of Belém before the implementation of the Plan; survey of the guidelines and
main procedures instituted by PGRS; analysis of the current situation of solid waste
management of transport activities in the Port of Belém, measuring the impact caused
by PGRS. Among the results achieved, by implementing the port's PGRS, CDP
acquired and installed selective collectors in all internal, common and operational
areas of the Port of Belém, as well as battery collector box, also invested in a program
that includes actions aimed at sensitizing the port community with lectures, workshops,
which resulted in the progressive reduction of the amount of waste generated; noting
positive impact that the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan represents on the
premises of the institution.
