GEOTECNOLOGIA APLICADA À IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE ASPECTOS GEOLÓGICOS E ESPELEOLÓGICOS DO MUNICÍPIO DE SIMÃO DIAS, SERGIPE/BRASIL
Este trabalho apresenta aspectos
geológicos e espeleológicos da porção
Sergipana do domínio Vaza Barris, localizada
no município de Simão Dias obtidos através
de técnicas de geotecnologias. A metodologia
utilizada consiste em: (i)revisão bibliográfica
para apropriação de informações referentes
à geologia, geomorfologia e clima; (ii)
geoprocessamento de imagens orbitais da
Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM)
para elaboração dos mapas de lineamentos e
densidade de lineamentos, com o objetivo de
realçar áreas susceptíveis a carstificação; e
(iii) visita técnica à área de estudos utilizando
os mapas confeccionados anteriormente
para identificação de estruturas no entrono
dos principais conteúdos espeleológicos
encontrados na região. Os resultados obtidos
mostraram que as cavernas analisadas
apresentam em parte seu desenvolvimento
controlado pela atuação da tectônica regional.
As zonas de cisalhamento rúptil implantadas
nas camadas de rochas carbonáticas foram
responsáveis pela geração de espaços por
onde os fluidos foram percolados, contribuindo
para o desenvolvimento do modelado cárstico
na região do domínio Vaza Barris.

Abstract:
This work presents geological
and speleological aspects of the Sergipana
portion of the Vaza Barris domain, located in
the municipality of Simão Dias obtained through
geotechnologies. The methodology used
consists of: (i) bibliographical review for the
appropriation of geology, geomorphology and
climate information; (ii) Orbital geoprocessing of
the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM)
for the elaboration of the maps of lineaments
and density of lineaments, in order to highlight
areas susceptible to karsification; and (iii)
technical visit to the area of studies using maps
previously made to identify structures within
the main speleological contents found in the
region. The results showed that the analyzed caves present in part their development
controlled by the action of the regional tectonics. The shear zones implanted in the
layers of carbonaceous rocks were responsible for the generation of spaces through
which the fluids were percolated, contributing to the development of the karst modeling
in the region of the Vaza Barris domain.
