GEOPOLITICA EUROPÉIA, POSSÍVEL SECESSÃO NOS BALCÃS: O CASO DA VOIVODINA
A região dos balcãs sofreu ao longo das últimas décadas, um processo efetivo de fragmentação. A ex-Iugoslávia desapareceu e seus membros foram se tornando independentes, restando apenas a região autonôma da Voivodina, ligada à Sérvia. Assim o objetivo deste artigo é analisar o contexto geopolítico, visando verificar a possibilidade da última fragmentação da ex-Iugoslávia. A pesquisa teve como base consultas bibliográfica e documental, em livros, artigos e sites que tratam do assunto. Por trás de toda a movimentação pela independência da região, estão os interesses econômicos internacionais, visando o potencial da bacia do Danúbio e das reservas de petróleo na região oriental da Voivodina.

Abstract:
The region suffered the Balkans over the last decades, an effective fragmentation process. The former Yugoslavia disappeared, and its members were becoming independent, leaving only the autonomous region of Vojvodina, linked to Serbia. So the purpose of this article is to analyze the geopolitical context in order to verify the possibility of the latest fragmentation of the former Yugoslavia. The survey would be based on the literature and document research in books, articles and websites dealing with the subject. Behind all the movement for independence of the region, they are the international economic interests, targeting the potential of the Danube basin, and oil reserves in the eastern region of Vojvodina.
