GEOMORFOLOGIA E GEODIVERSIDADE COMO FATOR DE ORGANIZAÇÃO E EXPANSÃO URBANA NA SERRA DO SINCORÁ – BAHIA: O EXEMPLO DE LENÇÓIS E PALMEIRAS
O presente trabalho trata de como os aspectos físicos, como a geomorfologia, bem como a geodiversidade que a englobam, influenciam na organização e expansão urbana das cidades de Serra do Sincorá, neste primeiro momento, com enfoque nas cidades de Mucugê e Andaraí. A morfologia condiciona o traçado urbano delas, de forma muito evidente, como aqui será mostrado no desenvolvimento desta pesquisa. É pretensão nossa ampliar este estudo as demais cidades da Serra do Sincorá.

Abstract:
The present work deals with how physical aspects, such as geomorphology, as well as the geodiversity that encompass it, influence the organization and urban expansion of the cities of Serra do Sincorá, in this first moment, focusing on the cities of Mucugê and Andaraí. Morphology conditions their urban layout, in a very evident way, as will be shown here in the development of this research. It is our intention to extend this study to other cities in the Serra do Sincorá.
