GEOGRAFIA POLÍTICA DOS RECURSOS HÍDRICOS E REPRODUÇÃO CAPITALISTA: ALGUMAS NOTAS INICIAIS SOBRE A EXPANSÃO DOS HIDRONEGÓCIOS EM MATO GROSSO
O artigo pretende discutir pontos e
hipóteses iniciais concernentes aos recentes
processos de expansão da indústria hidrelétrica
em Mato Grosso, com ênfase em áreas já
consolidadas pela atividade da agricultura
capitalista, portanto de expansão da fronteira
agrícola. Outro ponto central das descritas
áreas é o fato de que se constituem como de
“ocupação recente”, haja vista, as diferentes
estratégias ensejadas no período militar para
domínio territorial, nessa área de transição
para a floresta, portanto de nascentes de rios
que abastecem a grande bacia amazônica.
Destarte o artigo buscou levantar questões
iniciais da expansão da indústria hidrelétrica
em Mato Grosso, sobretudo considerando suas
relações com áreas históricas de expansão do
agronegócio na formação daquilo que estamos
classificando como arco dos hidronegócios de
Mato Grosso.

Abstract:
The article intends to discuss initial
points and assumptions concerning the recent
processes of expansion of the hydroelectric
industry in Mato Grosso, with emphasis on
areas already consolidated by agribusiness
activity, therefore expanding the agricultural
frontier. Another central point of the described
areas is the fact that they constitute as “recent
occupation”, as seen, the different strategies
of the capital during the military period for the
territorial domain in this area of transition to the
forest, therefore of important source of rivers
that supply the large Amazon basin. The article
sought to raise initial questions of the expansion
of the hydroelectric industry in Mato Grosso,
especially considering its intrinsic relations with
historical areas of expansion of agribusiness,
in the process of formation of what we are
classifying it as the arc of the hydro-business in
the Mato Grosso.
